Tom Crawford Sharing Stories at the Heritage Library

Resurrections Cover_Tom CrawfordIWN member and retired newsman, Tom Crawford, brings some of his stories and best obituaries to life in his book,  “Resurrections … of an Obituary Writer.”

On Sunday, May 3, during a 2 p.m. public presentation at the Heritage Library, he will tell how his latest book came about.

Here are some details from a recent press release:

Resurrections is the third book by Crawford, a member of the Island Writers Network. The book’s essays and obits cover influential and memorable individuals of a lifetime. Crawford will sign and sell copies during his Heritage Library appearance.

He has been a reporter and editor for several news operations in Massachusetts and a foreign correspondent in London and Belgrade. He relocated permanently to Hilton Head Island in 2007.

Admission to Crawford’s presentation is free. Because seating is limited, reservations are necessary.  Please call 843-686-6560.

The Heritage Library (http://www.heritagelib.org/) is a nonprofit history and ancestry research center with low-fee services open to the public at 852 William Hilton Parkway (second floor; parking and entrance in back).
